No. 18 Thonet Bentwood Chair. This chair dates from 1960’s and was manufactured by FMG, a Thonet factory in Poland. 2 of 3 chairs still have “Made in Poland” sticker.

The name “Bentwood” is derived from the graceful way the wood has been bent. The result is a durable, timeless, curvy, lightweight chair. Classic. Vintage. Each chair has individual wear at seat & arm that comes with age. Structurally sound, no cracks or creaking noise. Freshly polished; the gloss hides most flaws.
