Still LIfe: Monochromatic Pottery - Original Artwork
Couldn't load pickup availability
Monochromatic still life of vases, cups and candlestick. The unexpected color palette gives modernism to a traditional still life.
Still life is defined by inanimate objects, no animals or people, yet still managing to convey strong emotion.
I interpret this painting as a form of unity. Variations of shapes ; variations of shades yet all coexisting harmoniously. Each one with their own uniqueness to create a collection. We are more alike than different.
I would hang this in your pottery studio or between rooms as a transition piece ie: wall leading from kitchen to living room.
Original artwork. Signed by artist, Dorothy Bowman. Unframed. 1/1, not a print, not mass produced.
