Still life is defined by inanimate objects, no animals or people, yet still managing to convey strong emotion.

I interpret this still life as a healthy life. The apple represents wellness: mental and physical. The vases are a maternal symbol; in this regard it is positive because it is about nourishment. The calming greens depict ease, consistency year round. It's an encouraging reminder to take care of yourself. 

Would hang nicely in a sunny kitchen.
