Vintage Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical Style Butter Dish.

Four claw feet with stylized lions at apex and acanthus leaf pull. Rectangular body with rounded corners and clam shell domed top.  The top swivels downward, concealing ornate glass dish. Beautiful attention to details and clean modernist lines. 

Stamped: Silverplated, Hong Kong

Silver Dish: Excellent condition. Freshly polished. Opens smoothly.  7 1/2" W x 4" D x 4" H.

Glass Insert: Good condition. Glass has a chip but is smooth and does not alter functionality of butter dish as a set. Previous comps are usually sold without glass insert. 6" W X 2 3/4" D.
